Chicago Adventure Session
Midwest adventure sessions are some of my favorite, as we have to search a bit harder to find unique and beautiful places amongst the never ending cornfields and woods! But sometimes you stoll along gem locations like this one out in Yorkville, Illinois. This location was in a beautiful Forest preserve that these two beautiful souls showed me and I am so happy they did! Lyon County Forest Preserve is filled with beautiful woods, prairies, streams and more and we had such a blast running through it all!
Teala and Erik are some of the nicest people and of the most badass couples I have met! I met Teala actually through our mutual love of hula hooping and she is an incredible talented hennah artist! Check her work out at Miss Henna Marie. Small world that Erik is actually in a band, The Giving Tree Band, that I had been listening to for years! The two of them and their adorable pup live a fun and adventurous life traveling in their van across the country on tour!
We had such an epic sunset hour hiking through the vibrant woods, loving on their adorable pup, and hanging out in the prairies while Erik played his guitar and Teala danced. It was such a picture perfect evening from beginning to end. I love the energy and light these two have for life! This session goes down as one of my all time favorites to date. I love when my job connects me with rad souls like these two that I get to go on to call my friends when the photography is all over.
