I truly believe choosing to elope is the best decision a couple can make when it comes to saying I do! I value experiences over things, adventures over the standard reception hall, and capturing two people in a unique, true-to-you way, over a strictly scheduled posed day. When you choose to elope, you choose to have one of the most memorable and fun experiences of your life. My life passion aside from photography is travel, nature, & crafting together unforgettable unique experiences for people who also value the adventure in life. I care as much about the location, the landscape, and creating an experience for you, as I do about getting you the most epic pictures imaginable! Hey there! I’m Brigette
I am an elopement photographer based half the year in Chicago & half the year in Tamarindo, Costa Rica! I am an avid traveler, foodie, & music fanatic! When I am not out photographing the beauty in our world, I am often planning my next international adventure or out catching some live music! I love mountains, oceans, forests, the color purple, hats of all kinds, cooking, & just having a grand ole time through the ventures of life! My approach to photography is candid, fun, & laid back. I do not pose my couples stiffly & awkwardly, but rather give a series of skits & small tasks to do to bring out those natural, genuine reactions! I promise we will have tons of fun & oodles of laughs during your day! I love the couples I get to work with & helping plan every detail of your adventure. I truly feel like the luckiest person in the world to work my dream job everyday! I can not wait to hear from you guys!!!
ELOPEMENT PACKAGES
I work with couples to help create them custom elopement packages based on their exact location & photography desires! These are my most requested packages, however, we can custom create you one based on your exact needs. From my experience, I have now recommended that your elopement be a minimum of 2 hours of coverage to allow enough time for any driving, hiking, vows, & portraits. Often times if a lot of travel or multiple locations are involved I recommend a minimum of 6 hours.
All packages include a 90-day online web gallery of a minimum of 400 high-resolution edited images, full printing, and sharing rights, an extensive guide full of tips, tricks, and ideas for planning your day, gear, vendor, & accommodation recommendations, in-person/Skype consultation, unlimited assistance in planning locations & timeline of the day! The only additional cost you would be responsible for is if there are any special permit fees, or parking fees for photography in your selected elopement locations. I will do the research on permits, take care of obtaining one, and simply add the permit fee to your total.

Boudoir sessions are a great addition to any package! You can choose to do a boudoir solo as a gift for your husband, or you can choose to do a steamy couple’s boudoir session in-home or out in nature! A fun addition to any package!

WHAT DOES YOUR MONEY GO TOWARDS?
I want to explain the value & additional costs that go into elopement photography that clients may not be aware of. From beginning to end I spend a minimum of about 50 hours on each elopement from the time of initial booking to delivery. My prices reflect the whole entire process, and not simply the hours you book me for. Your money is going to SO much more than simply documenting your day and I like for you to have a basic understanding so you feel confident about what your money pays for!
*5-10 hours of researching destinations & locations, rules & regulations, & everything we need to know about legally getting married in your location of choice. I then create you a custom location portal that is customized with gear, hotel, restaurant, & local vendor recommendations.
*Elopement day coverage + all travel time to and from various elopement locations
*20-30 hours of editing//post processing work after your elopement
*5-10 hours of exporting/optimizing/uploading to your gallery & the costs associated with hosting it online
*Travel fees are built into your total package price & typically consist of roundtrip airfare, 2 nights of basic accommodation & meals, & 2 days of a rental car. (If out of state!)
*Wear & tear of professional's high-end equipment, expertise, & unlimited help with timeline planning & logistics of the day

FAQs
How customizable is each package?
After years of doing this, I have come to find most people need a 4, 6, 8, or 10 hour package. However, if you have a different number of hours in mind or want to add on anything additional to a package, just let me know and I can build you a custom package with a custom quote!
Do I offer Prints & Albums?
Yes! Your gallery link will have a PRINT SHOP tab integrated with it so that you can easily drop and drag any photos to a shopping cart. There is a wide assortment of different products at all price points you can purchase from one of the top print labs in the country. I do not require printing through me, but highly recommend it to ensure the best quality, papers, & inks!
How many images do we get, how do we get them, and when will we get them?
On average, I will deliver around 400 final high-resolution, professionally edited images! Turn around time for photos is within 8 weeks of your elopement date. But, I always send a sneak peek of 10 images within 72 hours of saying I do! You will receive your gallery of final photos in a shareable link that can easily be viewed & saved on your phone or desktop & shared with all family & friends!
Do you offer help in planning the day?
100% YES!!! I am 100 percent involved in helping you plan every detail. I am your sidekick travel planner, & totally geek out on researching destinations and everything there is to do! I will help you figure out the most epic location spots for stunning photos, the best time of day to get those incredible couple portraits, & what it takes to legally get you married in the location of your choice! I got you covered 100% and am available for you to contact or meet to discuss options!
Do I use photoshop?
I do go through individually on photos and retouch them and do some light skin smoothing. All of your photos will be edited in a certain style to create a cohesive story of your wedding day. I can remove blemishes, scratches, & bruises, if needed. However, I do not like to create any fake effects or alter your appearance in any way, you are perfect the way you are, & I am here to make you feel naturally beautiful in your photos!
What do we do in case of bad weather?
When planning outdoor adventures weather can always be a concern. Unfortunately, weather is out of our control but in case of severe weather instances we will have a backup plan//location on deck. We will go through all options of switching the day, maybe the hours, or location depending on the extremity of the situation. Leading up to your elopement I will be watching your weather very closely and we will have a solid back up plan if need be.

I want you to feel 1000% confident in having me as your photographer! Let’s jump on a phone call, face time call, or meet in person if possible & get the specifics of your day & see if we will be a good fit with each other! I can help you determine the amount of hours you need, and answer any questions after viewing all of this information!
2. SIGN CONTRACT & PAY DEPOSIT
After our call, if you decide you want to book, go ahead and email me your desired package. If you are unsure of hours, you can always book my basic package and add more hours as we develop more of a plan over time. I will send over your contract for you to view and sign. I require a NON REFUNDABLE 50% DOWN PAYMENT with your signed contract to reserve your date on my schedule. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your elopement date. Payment plans can be arranged based on your needs. Payments are accepted via Venmo, Zelle, Chase Quick pay, or check. If you would like to pay via card through Pay Pal, the 3% processing fee will be added on to your total deposit price.
3. PLAN AND DREAM ABOUT THE BEST DAY EVER!!
Once you are booked & a location is chosen I will spend the next 10 days creating you a guide customized to your location that is full of information on locations, permits, weather, accommodations, restaurants, fun things to do& more! We will be in touch for the months to come about timeline planning & any other things you may need help with!
