Matt & Alyson Keen: Sycamore, IL. Boho Fall Farm Wedding

Matt & Alyson Keen! What a day, what a couple, and what a unique & fun wedding to capture and remember! I was so STOKED to not only photograph this amazing couple’s engagement, which you can check out HERE, but to also get to document one of the most important days of their life! Their wedding was absolutely STUNNING! Filled with incredible boho details & decor, gorgeous florals, & epic music from Cat Man Dog, & Matt Keen himself! I loved this day so much because Alyson & Matt really tried to keep their wedding day true to who they were and kept things close to home, hiring tons of local vendors and people who were special to them to help out on their wedding day. The morning started off with a downpour, but you know what they say- rain on your wedding day is GREAT luck!!! Matt & Alyson exchanged their heart warming vows in a misty rainy forest at Johnson’s Mound Forest Preserve out in Elburn. After the vows, they went on to have their reception at the super unique and rustic farm venue, Serendipity Barn, one of Illinois’s newest and coolest rustic venues to get married at! My favorite detail of their whole day was the INCREDIBLE guest signing station they had. The Hairy Ant made beautiful pressed vinyls of their wedding song for their guests to sign, Talk about the coolest Wedding Book ever?!?! Not to mention the vinyl was a Charles Bradley one, a favorite musician of both Alyson & I! The night was filled with wood fire oven pizzas, fantastic live music all night long, beer pong, photo booths, a movie theatre, camping on the venue’s property, & overall just a rockin’ party all night long! Matt & Alyson, thanks for having me along and stay as a friend to capture one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever been a part of!
